Sometimes it’s just the day to day things
I get told about my eyes all the time but for my confidence it’s knowing I am good enough

Stuck with me for 3yrs and took every opportinity to make me feel like they cared analysed what drink i liked ,what clothes i liked,what i ate and the learned the jamaican style of cookin i eat n what i liked sexually and provided it without me asking ...and through that creativity i did the same back so yeah ...so yeah just many little things |

Something I touched on in a comment on your other thread - Someone having the patience to wait for me to have time for him. Its nice to know in these times of instant gratification that someone thinks you're worth waiting for. Means a lot to me. |

Someone I like sent me a message saying good morning. Doesn’t sound much but the fact that they thought of me first thing in the day meant a lot.

I went through a bit of a hard time where my life was pretty much falling apart. I was completely overwhelmed by the amount of people who cared for me and supported me and went out of their way to be there for me.
I'd never felt so much love before and it made me feel good in myself that I was someone who could deserve that. |

Actually I’ve had some ex bfs do some really wonderfully thoughtful stuff. One ex in particular was pretty amazing.
Surprised me one year.
I was listening to ‘I’m dreaming of a white Christmas..’ and I complained, there’s never a white Christmas here! (In London, it’s never cold enough)
He wanted to make sure I had one
On Christmas morning I was blindfolded and led downstairs, I could just feel something cool under my feet.
When he took my blindfold off, there was snow all over the living room and on the Christmas tree.
He’d been to Hamley’s, got fake snow, and woken up extra early to make some magic.

I had an older couple come over to me in a hotel restaurant when I was there with my 2 very young children to say how they had been watching us around the pool area and when in the restaurant, and were amazed how well behaved my children were and how happy they looked. They said they wouldn't dare take their grandchildren to the hotel because of how they would behave.
That made me feel very proud and made me think I must be getting a little bit of this parenting malarkey right. |

On here nothing really...there's a very fine line between deviant and genuine.
In the real world people say how fit I look male and female with no hidden agenda so that makes me feel good.
Or another is when young girls come up to me in a pub and say wow you look fab thats always a confidence booster. |

That’s nice. I have a friend who is a single mother of two. I make sure to tell her what a great job she’s doing. I’m not sure anyone else does.
