After seeing some rather aggressive and totally unnecessary comments here this afternoon, would you be put off meeting someone if you really liked them, but then you saw their aggressive attitude showing in forum posts? |

I was very forthright this morning - I’m really hoping that the ones that think I was too ‘honest’ stay clear
I’m only put off of if their opinion is really offending - other than that , people will disagree. |

The chances of meeting anyone from the forum, is too small to worry about that. |

The odd few I’ve blocked but the majority of people on here can accept a good discussion, sadly there is the odd one that really can’t handle someone disagreeing with them and then a bunfight starts and I need to eat popcorn! |

Actually, I've met a few from the forums - one was an FB for 3 years and another was my girlfriend for quite a while.... |

Aggressive and unnecessary in what manner?
See I sometimes see what looks like really uncalled for comments - then come back to a thread and it's two friends having a laugh.
I often see posts where peoples comments could be misconstrued as aggressive and maybe unnecessary - but having seen regular posts by that person they are quite blunt and say it as they see it instead of sugar coating their thoughts.
Or those regulars just having a laugh at the same thread type that comes up everyday - how big a dick do women like, who wants to watch me wank on cam, bald or hair, blah blah blah.
Ive not come across any particular person whose comments have made me think I wouldn't give them a chance, photo's is a different story though...

No, the comments I am referring to can't really be misconstrued or taken any other way.... |

Yeah I just couldn't meet some of these so called 'liberals' too much like hardwork, couldn't have a laugh.

I just take it all with a pinch of salt. Some people come across quite brash and enjoy being the controversial troll, believing their pantomime villain persona will get them noticed and into someone’s bed. Some people love playing the victim and are waiting to be offended, so they can become the ‘white knight’ and impress the damsels in distress. It’s quite comical sometimes. We personally like a social meet in the ‘real world’ and then form an opinion from that. Anyone can be anyone when hiding behind a keyboard.

In that case I haven't happened upon the comments you have seen. It doesn't particularly bode well though, we tend to chat before a meet, and if I feel someone is pushy, manipulative, demanding, deceitful or aggressive they tend to find themselves blocked without explanation and we wouldn't meet them.
I dont believe we have blocked anyone from the forums for comments to date. |

Yes if I see they are or have personalised things. That's a red flag for a few things that would most likely make us incompatible. It's also one reason I'll rarely meet a forumite. There have been the very odd exception but it's an exception for a reason. |

I'm sure there are plenty on here who police the link between their opinions and their fingers for this very reason. After all most people on the internet/social media are amuture propagandists (even if subconsciously). |

People need to learn that once you sign out of Fab for the day - then forget about it!
Its only an issue if you allow it!
Socially, I'd meet anyone off here. |

Yes. It would put me off but aggression shouldn’t be confused with disagreeing with people’s opinions. I’m not one for sugarcoating things but I hope it doesn’t come across as aggressive. My main thing is bullying and i see a fair bit of it on here. That has put me off a few people to be honest. |

Definitely puts me off. Everyone is entitled to have a difference of opinion but when it crosses the line in to full on insults then its shows a side which isn't so pleasant. Having been on here over 9 years i've seen a fair few discussions going too far and the insults get very personal. |

There are plenty who have put me off with their general attitudes and often pretty horrible opinions. If they’re local, I just block and let them get on with it |

Aggressive, or just generally off- putting? Yeah we need a good personality and attitude before we'll shag someone. |
