I've not watched any anime in probably 20 years, but used to enjoy the likes of Akira, Wicked City, Ninja Scroll, Project Ako, Fist of the North Star etc back in the day. I wouldn't know where to start getting back into it now! |

A short anime you could try is Castlevania on Netflix. It’s pretty dark, also Tokyo ghoul is a good one too.
They do lack the same type of content that some of the older ones did have. |
