Here and There

I have my fourth driving test today

I always fail in the first five minutes or so and after that I drive perfectly

I just get so nervous it consumes me. I've tried different remedies and seem to be getting a little more relaxed each time

I can drive very well, I am just shit at testing! I've been doing lessons about two years and my driving instructor has now become a good friend of mine haha. I drive the kids to school, have an hour's lesson, head to McDonald's for breakfast and then I drive to work!

I'm not giving up. I've invested too much time, effort and money into to just let it go. Plus I really, really, really want to be able to just pack up the car and head off out into the world with the kids in tow.

So wish me luck and send me positive vibes please ladies and gents. It would appear I need all the help I can get

Aw good luck OP. It took me three goes. I did the last one in my own car that I’d been driving round (accompanied) in. Made me feel a lot less nervous.

good luck don't think of it as a test just think of it as another lesson and if you do feel nervous then just sit in the car for extra 5 mins talk to your examinor before you start to drive it may help you feel a little more comfortable

Good luck, I failed my first 2 tests, but passed third time. I’m sure that your instructor wouldn’t have suggested you for taking the test if they didn’t think you were ready. My advice is to relax (as best you can) and be extra cautious with your observations

Deep breaths, exhale slowly you can do it.

Get there early so your prepared.

I didn't pass first time so I wasn't perfect.

It is state of mind, I passed on my third test.

My 2nd test was a non result as the tyre blew out 10 minutes before the end. I discovered later that that had that not happened I'd of passed.

I was offered a free retest, and passed, went into that test, no nerves no fuss because I knew I could do it.

Deep breaths and just drive as you normally would. Get yourself comfortable in the car and imagine the instructor isn’t there.

Remember telegram basics and go from there.
