Fantastic film..I'm a bit bias I suppose, with being a fan for around 45 years..remember though it's a film not a documentary, it does have a lot of artistic licence, a couple of the songs were not in the correct timeline along with his look too..his Aids diagnoses was later then portrayed in the film...just take it for what it is, with a bit of sadness and happiness too and some funny bits, I did find it very emotional, and of course, fantastic music and you will really enjoy it.. |

"I absolutely loved it. So much so that we’re going again on Wednesday.
I'm going to go again. Loved it. "
It was fantastic. Even if it made me cry in front of the new chap
I heartily recommend it to anyone on the fence. |

I loved it, not a massive fan, although I did see Queen live around 8 times between 73 & 80 / 81 or thereabouts.
The closing 15 mins of the film that captured their Live Aid set were wonderful.
They played three UK live dates the following year too! |

We loved it. Sensitively handled around him falling out with his family, constantly searching to replace them, etc.
Scarily similar actors, well done casting and make up!
Brilliant music.

There and to the left a bit |
I'm not a huge fan of the band - like their greatest hits package and that's about it - but do appreciate that they were both innovative and superb musicians - saw the film on Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed it as a piece of work and thought it was sensitively handled and portrayed.
It was slightly sugar coated but then these things often are especially when two of the band members were involved in the making of the film - yes there is some poetic licence played with the timelines, but it doesn't detract from the film.
Definitely recommend whether you're a fan or not |
