Its a time to look back on 2011 and wonder where the year has gone....has it been a good year or not for you ??
For me its been one hell of a journey into areas i never thought i would try and hey theres still more to come |

Back and forth to doctors all bleedin year, but nothing serious thankfully.
Socialy it's been a good year. Made a couple of important decisions that are turning out to be positive things 
Looking forward to 2012 and moving forward in lots of ways  |

I'll be glad to see the back of this year tbh. Lost three relatives within four months. The impending arrival of our daughter has taken the edge off the pain of losing beloved family members and I have qualified as an electrician this year, so I have mixed feelings about 2011.
Next year promises to be much better than this year though. |

2011 as been up and down regarding ill health with family members ,so heres to 2012 bein healthy and a good one for me as met a wonderful man so the journey is just begining.... |

This year has been ok...
My mum is still keepin us all on our toes , I have not lost my job yet...
And you lot have been such fun...
Hopefully 2012 will be more of the same... But without the Sillyness of health... so that
I can get to at least one of the Chams socials...  |

ended beter than it started this time last year i was threatened with being homeless. i have a secure roof over my head now.
lost a nephew in jan tragically.
my mums been ill a lot this year.
2012 has to be better |

2011 has been a shit year!
Split with my long term partner in January. Lost my eldest child's father in a tragic accident in April.
I had an op in August. Waiting for test results for something else.
Plus I lost my job a week ago!!
On the plus side, I did join here and have met some great people. So its not all bad!

on the downside lost 4 friends one 39 one 46 one 47 one 64. have been quiet on the swinging front. havent been away much. diagnosed with transitional global amnesia. upside. have now lost almost 7 and half stone. cured myself of diabetis and high cholestral. ive had new bathroom and bedroom. jay and i are still loved up. callum now has fulltime employment and somewhere to live. so all in all a good year |

Bit of a tough one for us. Had to detox off pain killers because I got addicted to them, became intollerant to alcohol too(not good), young un got rushed into hospital which was very touch and go, lost our friend who was like a mother to us in a car accident, a few other problems too.
Onwards and upwards as they say. |

This time last year I was trekking in the jungles of Thailand. We weren;t quite a couple but had become ridiculously close and I was missing Boho lots. We were a couple as soon as I got back!
So year started well, then I got hit by a car, not great. I was also being bullied at work and in a job I hated. So i went off sick and started job hunting, after 20 years of finance I applied for a totally different job (not the sort that I can mention on these boards), never thought I'd get it but did. Best thing that's ever happened to me workwise, i look forward to work every day now.
That job was out of London and I moved to Hertfordshire and in with boho a few months ago. A huge change and one tht was definately the right one for me.
Oh and I raced on the bike again, did some running races, lost 2 stone so pretty good on that level too!
Year of huge change and I'm not regretting it. |

2011 was a mixed bag for me yet an improvement on the previous 2 or 3 years and overall im happy to have met some fab new friends and i am excited about the possibilities 2012 might bring.. a feeling i haven't had at the end of a year in awhile.
Looking forward to new beginnings, opportunities and friendships so friends old and new you know what to do :P. |

There have been personal moments that have not been as good as they could have been..a health scare,kev lost his job...but overall 2011 has been simply fabulous
There are a number of reasons why...mostly about having more fun,learning more about myself and being a better wife,sub,mother, person, than i ever believed possible! |

K seriously ill and an emergency operation
K's dad passed away
uncle passed away
My mum seriously ill with cancer
and to top it all I was made redundant
2012 can't possibly be any worse 
Friends on here have more or less kept us sane though - thanks folks xx |

This time last year, I was lying on a beach in the Caribbean!!
But not this year!! Oh well, you can't win them all!! 
One consolation though is that yesterday wouldn't have happened! An even bigger consolation is that Monday might well not have happened!! |

Have had some highs and lows here.
The biggest high was daughter getting married in August.
Lost a very good friend at the age off 44yrs a few months ago, and a very close
family member is fighting breast cancer at this moment.
Here's hoping 2012 is a better year for one and all. xxxxxx |

Xmas eve i sat with a bottle of vodka and 50 paracetamol wanted to end it all. But I didnt lol im here and things have got better well are getting better hahahhahaha. Oh and i still have the same full bottle of vodka hahha |

Year started off pretty bad ... I had a heart attack in February (day before I was due to fly on holiday!) made me re-evaluate my life in a big way
Then met a fantastic guy at kestrels in May - we now live together and he proposed earlier this month (I said yes lol)
Looking forward to a great 2012

Blimey, looks like some of us have had really awful years.
I tell you what though, reading each of these comments made me realise that it's not just me who's had a bad one, but similarly, that the human spirit is strong, and that we can, and do, get through the bad spells. It's what makes us as people, as hurtful and emotional as it can be at times.
I'm going to endeth here the lesson, and go and write down somewhere my thoughts on the last twelve months, am sure it will be a carthatic exercise, and also write some goals for the next 12 months,- im determined to do what I can to make it a great 12 months.

Been a year of highs and lows. Started the year off recently single and not in a good frame of mind. Spent the first half of the year re discovering myself and joined fab. Met my lovely fella in the summer, and both fell head over heels....
Had a lot of illness over the last three months, had an op on my back, kidney infection etc, finally diagnosed with diabetes and now getting treated for it, starting to feel better now.
Here's hoping for a happy and healthy 2012.  |

Last year I was living with a twunt.
Now am homeless, skint and single but am loving life. When you hit rock bottom the good thing about it is, the only way to go then is UP

Hmmm 2011 for me started well.. until my now ex decided to boot me for calling her out on some ass-hattery. Had about 10 months of her playing silly buggers with access to the kids...
On the upside, joined this cracking site, met some great people at the Pussy Posse Xmas Hooley, so onward and upward |
