I wear a digital NHS hearing aid which is fine for hearing conversation in a quite room but since it amplifies everything its different story in say a crowded pub.
So do the more expensive aids that claim to home in on conversation and minimise other sound actually work and worth the money ?? |

My mum has been losing her hearing for a cpl of years now, she now wears a hearing aid, and loves it (the hearing aid, not the being deaf).
She just turns it to off when she doesnt want to listen to us.
But I have no idea what kind she uses, so not much help on this thread.
