On that point, as you know, I agree with you completely my friend - however it should be pointed out in this instance that a number of posts have been removed and mostly where the OP showed exactly what his version of "aggressive" equated to and that in the main is why he was, as you suggest, thrown off a cliff. Could more effort have been made to understand his thought processes, and where he was coming from? Possibly, but as you know, if someone is being deliberately contentious on here, it often leads to further contention

I think the post was naive, but in my view it did not deserve the initial torrent of abuse, to which he responded badly. As much as I dislike rude people I dislike even more people who are intelligent enough to be extremely rude in polite way, and think that by being offensive politely it is excusable. These people are in my books bullies as much as someone who is less articulate.
