I saw then live a few years ago at Nottingham arena - I got free tickets
They were ok but not amazing. The only one of the original line up playing was Axl. I thought the support act, Thin Lizzy, were better - obviously not the original line up as Lynott died some time ago. |

'It's so Easy'
First heard it when I was 8 years old and it is the single most influential song on my taste in music.
Never saw them live though. I was too young when they were in there prime and I'd have no interest in seeing them now.
They should never have got back together in my opinion.
It was perfect the way it was. |

Personally, A: I'd like to put that maggots squeaky little voice through a grinder and B: I'd be happier if they went the way of more talented musicians (but preferably after age 27 which I think they have safely passed -wouldn't wanting them earning undue kudos or anything) |

Night Train
And no. Did have a ticket for the London gig but gave it up as I realised it would mean sitting through everything after Lies that I'm not into at all. |

"Get in the ring
Don't cry
November rain
Never saw them live which will always be a regret" They will be here next year... Mark my words the Not in my lifetime tour(a phrase Axl used to journalists on a reunion about 6 years ago) rumbles on...
Hopefully IW Festival, possibly Glastonbury. In all likelihood though, a few of their own shows |

"Didn't realise it was a cult thing It ain't. It's just your immature comments are not welcome , so take them elsewhere please ."
You are posting a question soliciting opinions in a public forum are you not? Or were you trying to get everyone to agree with your worldview? Either way, I am entitled to a contrary opinion as are you. |

I didn't ask for someone to post nasty vitriolic comments about wishing people had died and putting someone through a meat grinder/ minced. That , Sir, is out of order , and you know it!! |

Welcome to the Jungle is mine, Rocket Queen is the bf's.
Saw them in Berlin in June, first time for me, G has seen them a few times. It was a fantastic show, although shorter than the other European shows, perhaps due to noise restriction laws.
Had a brilliant time and would have went to another show if we could have afforded it. I've been a fan since I was 13. One of the best rock bands ever, I listen to them every day. They're on every Spotify playlist I have, even the kids like them. And AC/DC |

Fraid to say that posting on a public Forum is exactly that, soliciting Opinions. As you seem to be a very literal person where Irony is obviously in short supply, may I suggest the Gun's and Roses fansite as a better venue for postings where you are expecting all the replies to be favourable to said cult -but I fear that, even there, you may end up in fisticuffs with one or two who may dare to disagree with your pre-ordained trajectory for a discussion. |

You sound like my ex lol, even when she knew she was in the wrong she attempted to talk her way out of it . It was a rambling , childish , almost troll like comment and certainly not needed or wanted !! If you don't like the group, that's fine , just don't comment . Because believe me , no matter how you dress it up, you look the Muppet , not me !! |

"I was at the 1988 monsters of rock when 2 died in the crowd. It still amazes me that we were not told about it on the day "
No we weren't, but some sicko playing the Pa deciding Eric Idles Always look on the bright side of life, on the way out was a clue. There's a Web page dedicated to the events that day, compelling reading. |

Fave song? All of them! I can’t choose. However, I did used to have sweet child o mine as my ringtone.
Have I seen them? Yup! Was lucky that my sister managed to blag free tickets to see them in Nottingham. Of course seeing them was incredible but it was made even better by the fact that we didn’t pay a penny |

You're crazy, Anything Goes or Paradise City
Saw them in London last year, Axl was very much back on form and as well as being a lot slimmer than he had been, his voice also sounded great. I saw him fronting AC/DC the year before too and he was awesome , that's what made me decide to get tickets for the GnR tour |

One in a million although live, possibly Mr Brownstone or Rocket Queen.
Seen a few times but best was Wembley for the launch of Use your Illusion albums. Faith No More supported them and it was mental. The Cult supported them at Milton Keynes Bowl for another messy gig.
Despite time moving on I thought they were still excellent at the London Stadium last year. |

Hard to pick just one, been through phases of liking different ones, Don’t Cry, Estranged, Pretty Tied Up, Paradise City, Patience have all been faves.
I had such a massive thing for Gilby Clarke when I was younger, gutted that he wasn’t part of them getting back together when we saw them at Download last year.
Axl is certainly past his best now but Slash is still amazing and very glad I got to see the proper line up after 25 years of liking them!

"Patience
No I would of loved to. But even if they reformed I wouldn't want to see them now They have reformed . Been a couple of years now "
I know but it would never be as good as it was when they were amazing.
Appetite for destruction
Use your illusion 1+2
And for me, that's it. None of that other stuff that came out under a different name.
Remember that 'down on the farm' song? It wasn't under 'GnR' I don't think.
I'd rather keep the memories of when they were the best and St their best. |

Myles Kennedy does a far better job of the GnR songs when he's performing with Slash. The man has incredible range.

Izzy stradlin isn't there (Richard Fortius does look him though) Frank `thunderchucker' ferries is the drummer and they have on keyboard, Melissa Reese. She is a very hot looking woman. |

Unless it's the original members I wouldn't entertain going to their concert.
It's a shame what happened but I'm just grateful they happened in my teens as I was discovering music.
I wore on their team shirts yesterday and just as proud to show off my love for them as when I put on a sports top. |

The one with Axl’s dodgy English accent?
That was from The Spaghetti Incident which was punk covers I believe.

Yes, off the Spaghetti Incident punk covers album. Original by UK Subs. |

Estranged for me, Sweet Child O'mine for Mrs O, though she prefers the Slash & Myles version.
Seen them live in various guises over the years from MOR88 to Download last year. |
