You realise you bet against other gamblers and bookmakers simply facilitate the bet? Hence why they are never poor because they don't bet against you. |

You bet against other gamblers on Betfair,
Bookmakers price markets using what they call “over-round calculator”. Their profit margin is built into the odds they offer, how often do you see a bookie offer odds of 4/6 against 6/4 ?
