I suppose what "that" is? If I can't, then it is an online site where you can purchase "adult" things that may be used in the bedroom if you have a willing partner.

Evening. Rare visitor to this neck of the forum here.
Right now tonight I'm feeling like Tony Stark at the start of IM3 when he goes "I can't sleep... you see things, and then you got to pretend they never happened?"
Past few weeks has been hell for me emotionally and mentally with everything that has been going on in my personal life. I'm seriously wondering if I'll ever get it back together again, and frankly I don't see much of a motivation to. That's how neck deep in depression I already am.
Before anyone suggests seeking professional help, my university is already working on it with me, but since everything is in its early stages there's no telling what they're offering for help and whether it'll work in the first place. In the meantime, my nights are a mess. I sleep in the day more than in the night, as if the daylight would protect me from the nightmares that a certain someone would haunt them in if I slept at night instead.
Sorry, I must come off like a wet blanket for Monday night now. Such is life I suppose. |

Well, swinging was always a bit of a safe harbour for myself in my singlehood. After all it was how I got introduced to sex and everything that came after. Now that I'm back after a particularly traumatic breakup (of which I shan't go into details here), I'm just trying to rebuild my life in some way that I find familiar and comforting.
Being physically away from the country for a year as well as being out of the Fab scene due to being in a relationship, I've returned to the site to see my old social groups pretty much all demolished and gone (my Fab life started in Hull). So naturally I'm nervous as to how reception of me as "yet another single male...ooh wait, he's an exotic one isn't he? He isn't local!" would possibly be like at the York social. No pressure on myself to actually make it more than just a social (like you said, couple drinks and socialising), but I always feel acutely my relative inability to convert my social capital into actual meets. Been a longstanding handicap of mine even back during my previous swinging time in Hull. Never quite sure what's that final 5% I lack out of the 95% I can get in the bag with my socialising skills.
Be nice to be wanted and be seen as a desirable swinging partner for once without me having to go searching so-to-speak. I can't remember when was the last time I had a single female swinger or couple swinger here deliberately approach me and express interest in me sexually, and not the other way around! |

"Evening.
Good eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevening, March. Welcome to this nocturnal nitwittery. First of all no need to apologise. You can talk about whatever you want here. And I'm glad you feel like you can talk about your mental health. Talking with your university is good, you're dealing with it. It might not feel like you're dealing with it. It will get better.
Thank you. I'm just trying to hold things together and make some modicum of recovery that actually can hold together till the York social next month. First social I'll be going to after a year-long hiatus. I really don't wanna mess up.
You're welcome, anytime. The fact you want to go is a positive sign. And hey, it's just going for a few drinks and having a bit of a chat.
I'd have thought being all exotic would be a good thing! Whatever it is you feel you're lacking, could just be experience. I don't mean to sound patronising, you're young. I began to feel more confident in myself at 25/26. You might find it'll click into place for you in the not too distant future. You've got new people to meet, that's exciting. Don't take it too seriously, don't put pressure on yourself. |

"I wonder if Ignite will show up after 4?"
Well I fell asleep on the settee about 8pm last night went to bed about 10ish,it's all a bit of a blur really. I used to love my bedtime, but I can't remember the last time I slept well and it's catching up on me. I did sleep slightly better last night,my shoulder is still pee peeing me off that's not helping.
So yeah I didn't see 4am last night,I was awake at stages but didn't go on my phone. |
