What compliments have you received lately?

Hello Friends Fabbers and Forumites.
I have a rare Sunday off , rather spiffing. So pooch and I will sit down over breakfast , with a large map to pour over and to d some where simply jolly to visit .
A chum in work paid me a complement yesterday . They said I was always bright and breezy and made them smile. It was so kind of them to take the time to tell me that. I never used to take complements well, many of us can't . Now I have learnt to accept such wonderful gifts and thank people . Also to complement others.
Remember, butterflies don’t know the color of their wings, but our eyes know how beautiful they are. Likewise, in the haste of your busy days, you probably don’t notice just how great you are, but others nearby still see that you are incredible. When someone says something nice about you, it’s worth remembering.

Appart from the after glow compliments nothing stands out other than im a good friend

Morning, a new lady who started work at my place recently said that I make working there fun as I'm always happy & approachable, made my day

You are always cheery on here too and an example to us all.
I (Gaston) was told I’m highly efficient the other day, which came as a massive surprise but hey.
MissJ was recently told she had a lovely bottom by several people and I have to agree. One of those may have been squeezing at the time but we didn’t mind that.

Yea that was my last one too. Also my face pic got lots of "you're a natural beauty" comments so I think my eyebrows need done.

Recently been told I have beautiful eyebrows.
Last night I went to a show wearing a handmade pink trench dress and got a couple of wow compliments about it, liking it to Paris fashion style which was good. |

Most people only give them when they want something.
Usually money so they try and soften you up first.

My last compliment was at work yesterday. One of the drivers told another member of staff to fuck off (mainly in jest I must add). She said why don’t you tell Sarah to fuck off? His reply was that my voice is so soft and gentle he just couldn’t bring himself to swear in front of me or be mean in any way. It would feel so wrong |

I had a job interview on Fri, although it wasn't for me he did say that I should find something quite easily because I'm friendly, well spoken and the kind of person he'd love to have on his team. Made me smile and gave me a little boost as that's the first interview I've had for ages |

I was told last week at work, that it was always a pleasure to see me,as even on a rainy day I managed to make them smile.
I thanked her, and said that she'd just made my day,which she had,and we both went our ways smiling inside and out.

Actually yeah I got told I look nice in my glasses. I hardly ever wear them out of the house. |

I played golf with a Work colleague last week, one of whom I haven’t played with for 18 months. I’ve been taking lessons in that period, he said how much better I was now compared to before. Celebrated by taking £20 off the two of them |

I was told today that a friend had just told his girlfriend what a legend I was...
He's my best friend's lad and I'd driven him and his bandmates to a festival in Poland about 12 years ago when they all had to get permission from school to take the time off as they were only 15/16 at the time. I survived for 3 days on Red Bull and Marlboro Lights. |

I just got told that I was very kind for making time to pop in to see a customer at short notice to make sure they didn't have a leak (turns out their little toddler had left a tap on too long). Just a little thing to make me smile on a monday morning |

My husband compliments me as all the time. I used to be sceptical because he even does it first thing in the morning when I look like a sloth but he's being totally sincere so have learnt to accept them gracefully |
