I watched it and although I found it absolutely thrilling in terms of the acting and camera work, as well as the script, there was no way that I found it scary.
That show will most definitely stand the test of time, but I don’t understand where the fear comes from. |

I found the ending a bit lame. I just wanted someone to burn the bloody house down. Successfully. But I thought the ghosts were really good. Looks like I'm in a minority. I thought it was quite disturbing. |

I may have been disappointed because the reviews I read said it was very scary. I might have enjoyed it more had I not read any reviews.
I agree that the ghosts were creepy, but they were too few and far between. It was mostly just banging on doors/walls and twisting doorknobs 
I also found the ending to be very anticlimactic. I was expecting a massive showdown  |

I thought it was great and some bits scared the shit out off me but I knew the ending was not going to be what I thought it would be |

Totally agree with everything you said. Great film for many reasons, just not so for being scary! |
