i love gold.

I lived in Amsterdam for 2 years lots to do. Anne Frank Heineken museum. Canal boats. sex shows. olympic stadium. Got to go on a tram. Also maybe try a little trip to volendam not too far away nice seaside place.

Brighton - even Hove!

An hour trip around the canals is very relaxing. We timed it to have our lunch on one so avoided loads of overcrowded restaurants.

if the weather is nice, a stroll round the vondelpark followed by a brew in the tea garden is a lovely way to spend a couple of hours

i hate the way people only visit the centre and think amsterdam is all about the smoking, hookers and so on

it's a beautiful city, but you need to get out of the centre to see much of that beauty

take a tram to ten kaatstraat, wander round the weekend market, shop, drink and get fed in de hallen (it's a converted tram depot) there's a cinema in there too if it gets a bit nippy for wandering round
