my cat has "played" with a couple of the lower hanging dec's but on saturday my sisters dog stole a chocolate off the tree and ate it foil wrapper and all

Yeah, last time I put a tree up, my then new rescue dog took one look and promptly pee'd on it.....never again!

Our tom cat did that the first Xmas he was here on his own! Mind you, the tree sits outside in a pot for the rest of the year so no doubt there was the scent of something else on it!
