Depends on filters, they might have to verify you first before you can leave them 1. |

As has been mentioned it's most likely to be filters. If you are friends with them that gets round filters....
Only other possible issue could be if you've shared an internet connection... |

Is it someone you either aren't friends with or who has filters against single men?
Or are you both trying to leave a veri while connected to the same WiFi?
Any of those can prevent a veri being received.
Have you checked with them to confirm they've not received it and it's not a case of they've just not published it yet? |
