A big shout to Thom Yorke, Billie Holliday, Jeff Buckley and Joni Mitchell. Love also for Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Nina Simone, Al Green and Janis Joplin.

Trying to pick my fav but can’t choose between the final two; Bob and Billie - for various sentimental, personal reasons and what their voices stir in me.

Some great shouts across this thread and differentiating between any based on personal taste is incredibly hard, I just wanted to shout out Sarah Vaughn who regularly gets overlooked by more ‘well known’ artists of her time, her vocal tone, control, power and ‘soul’ makes her a legend.
