I wouldn’t get the opportunity to arrange any meets I don’t think, so no. I don’t go to clubs or anything like that now, and probably wouldn’t without the internet either! |

Got into swinging through other means and played for about 18 months before creating a profile on a swinging site. Even now, it's mainly only a means of keeping in touch and seeing who else is attending parties. Forums can be fun and informative though, especially if traveling. |

Ok, technically not a Swinger either but I would find it very difficult to arrange meetings if it wasn’t for the internet.
Back in the days of dial up internet I used to use chat forums on yahoo. That was before fab existed. But it would have been too much hassle before that. |

We used to have to buy a copy of Rendezvous, select the victim of your choice, write an introductory letter(with proper photographs enclosed), and your landline number, then send it off to a P.O. Box address somewhere. Then you would wait for about a fortnight, and if you were lucky, you would get a reply   |

Snap! Ahhh Rendezvous. Happy memories. All you had to go on was a couple of lines of text and a single tiny b&w picture. It sure was exciting though. |

Contact magazines like Experience, Exposed and The Journal of Love etc were also available on the top shelf of newsagents in the 70s/80s. My experience of them, however, proved to be a waste of time, effort, and postage, and were probably open to more fraud and false profiles than now. Thank God for the internet and social functions! |

My very first swinging meet was with a girl in Harrogate through a contact mag. That was 1973.
My first club visit was to Adam and Eves when it was still advertised as being a mixed sauna in 1985.
The internet changed everything! |

I grew up in a large village and swinging was a very popular pastime. Most of the villages expansion was in the late sixties early seventies and lots of newly married couples all moved in. Thousands of them. At one point in the seventies it had the highest birthrate in the country. Im pretty sure my dad was into it, along with his mates and their wives. A girl at school even brought in pics of an orgy her parents hosted.
It wasn't called Sin City for nothing. |

During the war...
We used carrier pigeons to arrange meets, unfortunately they occasionally got mixed up with the French resistance pigeons.
So you would go to what you thought was a meet in a French café, and some English airman dressed up as a police officer turned up with a right Dodgy accent talking about how he was just pissing by....

No I don't class myself as a swinger, I'm only really looking for one to one meets and even then I'd like just one person to become regular.
If it wasn't for fab I'd probably make more effort on a night out if I fancied it! |

Used to be a few magazine's in Northern Ireland where you used to be able to put your adds in. But then you had to rent a po mailbox  then you had to read mail reply and if you was lucky enough you meet someone. Or unlucky like me once got 32 replying all men  |
