I'm sat watching Sister Act on Film Four, love it and watch it whenever I see it's on. I was 12 when it first came out and it reminds me of being a kid again.
What's your favourite throwback film to your childhood and when did you last watch it? |

The Wizard of Oz for me to. I remember I didn't want to watch it as a child as it was black and white and my mum saying 'just give it a few minutes **** you'll be amazed', then of course it went into colour and I was hooked. I watch it every Christmas |

Bedknobs and Broomsticks. I was totally enchanted by that flying bed. I remember being taken to see it in Hastings by my aunt when my sister and I were staying at her house. I think it was on tv last Christmas or the one before. I didn’t get to see it all the way through though. |

Dirty Dancing, Grease, Sound Of Music and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang though I was always scared when they dressed Mr Potts and Truly up as dolls. Wasn't bothered by the Child Catcher but I was by that.
Loved Muppet Treasure Island too. Though I still love that. |

Slough Windsor ish |
The Goonies has to be among my most favourite movies.... It's on channel 5 on Sunday 4.45pm ish I think. I shall be watching.
Watershed Down left me traumatised, as did Bambi.
Early teens I saw the Porkies movies, they seemed so racy at the time

I remember my Auntie letting me & my cousin watch 'Porkies'
We thought it was so naughty
She was, of course, immediately elevated to the rank of Cool Auntie |

The 1972 film Silent Running starring Bruce Dern. I saw it on telly when i was little and it really made an impression. Tragic, moving and prophetic.
I've watched it a few times since but not for ages. |
