I heard from an ex colleague of mine in a company I once worked for that on Thursday & Friday, they had their Xmas Decorations and Trees all set up plus Xmas music playing on the PA System! It's been copied across all their hotels in the UK.

OMG! That's crazy!

I’m a huge lover of Christmas but decorations in October?

Madness! We haven’t even got past Halloween yet!

Whoa, that is too early. Even though I've already eaten a pack of mince pies this week!

I absolutely love Christmas. But I usually wait until December before getting in the Christmas spirit.

However, I never seem to have enough time, to watch all the christmas films, get shopping done, plan christmas menu etc so I'm starting christmas just after bonfire night this year!

Shops should do the same!

I very nearly bought all my gifts today as they were all on the shelves waiting for me. That would be too much like organisation though. Not me at all.

IF I was staying on a hotel that was celebrating christmas in October I'd complain to the manager. Fucking ridiculous

I am not a particular fan of Christmas to be honest as I think it has become far to much commercialised, and yes it is definitely far to early to start advertising it. Leanne x

Should be able to sign a waiver on the Jan 1st excusing yourself from any Christmas activities that year.

As much as I love Christmas with every fibre of my being, October is way too early.

I think mid November is probably the best time for shops and other businesses to get ready for Christmas.
