"To hug a stranger if they look really sad - or is it just me?"
What if you hug them only to find they were looking sad because someone came up and hugged them ... crushing the cream cake they were hiding in their pocket to suprise the woman of their dreams ... before she got on a train to leave town forever... and they were going to beg her to stay but missed her ... as she got on the train whilst he was cleaning the cream out of his pocket ... and now you've just reminded him of the whole trauma ... resulting in accute depression.
It really is better to leave sad looking strangers alone. |
