was doing a hospital radio show today with a friend when he said the word bitch
i told him off because, understandably we are not allowed to swear on the radio and he said bitch wasnt a swear word. Yet he tells me off for saying crap
so....is bitch worse than crap?? what makes a word a swear word??

I think a swear word is usually a word that is slang and with a derogatory meaning
so, depending on the way they are used, both crap and bitch could be considered as swearing.
They are pretty tame though |

You never said that you were telling him that his dog had just had a "crap" on the floor - and he was just telling you it wasnt a dog it was a "bitch".. |
