While I appreciate the oatcake is a Staffordshire wide thing, with those cheeky fuckers from Derbyshire having their bastardised version (batter allowed to rise) no one, does them like they do in stoke.
Bacon & sausage, grilled on a tin plate, the oatcakes, put under the grill with grated Cheshire cheese.
Bacon and sausage wrapped in cheesey wonder with correct application of brown filth.
Eat with relish.
Then ask some random ‘cost kick a bow agin a wo an Ed it till it bost?’ |

There’s a guy up hanley called oatie mostin who does dinner plate size ones with a full English and cheese on.
