I did think that when I wrote it 
But no, I heard a skein of geese fly over, honking quite loudly, and it reminded me that winter is around the corner. |

I saw a flock of 35 redwings flying west yesterday back at home If I,d blinked I would have missed them they were certainly in a hurry..  |

Twice this week I've put on a sweater to go to the school, and both times ended up drenched in sweat by the time I got home.

Of course, we have a massive storm set to hit the UK this weekend and as animal experts say, wildlife has that uncanny foresight to effectively "flee in advance" from bad weather! |

I've only heard the one skein go over so far. I'll panic when the sky is filled with sparrows. |

Yes canadian geese and grey lag geese pass between here and local parkland and the river, and yes they always fly low. |
