So after a horrendous year this year,my daughter rings to tell me that she has book me and her a long weekend to Prague for February next year. Some quality mother daughter time.
I don’t know any detail just that we are going for a long weekend.
So any places I should visit whilst there would be much appreciated.
Where to eat/drink etc
Thank you |

There and to the left a bit |
Prague is actually quite a small city by comparison to say London or even Manchester/Birmingham - is quite easy to get around.
The Charles Bridge is a must see, as is the main square and the clock there.
Lots of good places to eat and drink too with a wide variety of food options from local dishes to more conventional fare |

Oh it's a fabulous city, something amazing around every corner! I walked 26 miles in two days when I went lol!
My tip would be print out the full tram maps at home beforehand (they didn't have them anywhere when I went, so glad I took my print out!), work out where you need to go and use public transport for everything, it's great fun and dirt cheap.
I got the tram up to the top of the hill where the castle and cathedral are and walked down, across Charles bridge and into the old town, it's very doable. Lots of local fare on offer everywhere.
Oh and don't bother with Wenceslas Square - it's just a modern shopping centre like Oxford St! |

It's the most beautiful city in the world my opinion.
So many wonderful buildings, and easy to walk around... Just don't wear heels, not round the square. Made that mistake on my first evening.
Hope you have a great time OP
I can't wait to go back next year x

If you don't mind a bit of art, there's a good Mucha exhibition called the Slav Epic in something-or-other palace (a misnomer - it's really not palatial, it's a big communist concrete monstrosity) that really is epic! |
