Does anyone else here have poppies from the Tower of London display?

Hiding in the shadows

I was there on day 1 planting, visited several times with my children through the display, and was back there at the end removing.

I actually shed a few tears when I broke one pulling it off the metal pole.

My own poppy has pride of place in my living room.

Anyone near or visiting Bury St Edmunds they have a Poppy trail around the town with various installations that's worth a look

I was there planting them for two days, such a privilege to do it, I found it really moving.

We have poppies up all over our village and they were my mum's favourite flowers. Strangely they were out up the weekend that it was a year that my mum died. Will be wearing my poppy with pride for service people and my mum
