I don't send them my reasoning if a profile interests me enough a minute or two of my time is a worthwhile investment into a message. I don't mind receiving them , Had one today...I check who sent it if their profile interests me I'll message an intro back |

Depends from what sex but a rarely even look as 99.9% are off sad blokes that either that either don't care my profile says I'm straight or just hoping I'm a fab straight. The only other 1s are from tv that just can't comprehend that all blokes aren't bi. Which ever they are they just sit in the wink box so they are unable to rewink. There's a top tip there if you don't know it  |

People just don’t understand what winks are for they aren’t just a way to say you’ve looked they are to show you like what you’ve seen and don’t want to send an unsolicited message if they won’t reply so wink and if they wink back start a conversation but here there seems to be a serious lack of knowledge of how to use them |

What do the ladies do (who don't look at winks on here) if someone was to smile and wink in the world beyond Fab?
Just thinking do we need another button, to be able to send a smile then the wink. |

Well I put a fair bit of time into that initial message so if I like someone but their profile doesn't quite tell enough information to know if you are at least similar to what they seek then winks are great, whether sending or receiving one prompts me to invest that time into an original message. |

We go through phases where we won't even look at them. We prefer messages, obviously, but will occasionally look, and sometimes wink back. But like others have mentioned, the majority of those who we wink back never then message... |

Not sure if I like them but I don't dislike them. I do look, mostly because it sets me off having the notifications on my homepage so I like to clear them  if I like the look of a profile, i.e. there is some information on there and it's of interest to me, I'll wink back. They need to make the next move though. |

We enjoy/love getting winks from people that have read our profile and know what we’re looking for...... Single Males winking or sending a message is just wasting their time and ours and is pointless.

I think the response may vary greatly if it's single men or women and couples.
Single men on average receive much less unsolicited messages or winks so any that appear may come as a welcome surprise.
Women and couples (judging by my friends) can receive dozens if not hundreds of messages a day and dozens of winks. If this happened to me (I wish lol) I doubt i'd notice them after some time and wouldn't even bother to check. To much attention to process. |

I like them, I use them. Mainly I think it shows an initial interest. I always check the profile, If I like it I either wink back or message. If I don't like it I usually message saying thanks but no thanks. |

Not that I get many very often. But I don't mind them. If I like the look of the winker I'll wink back or message them. Usually that's as far as it goes though, message is usually read and deleted. |

That depends on what I think after reading the winkers profile, I pretty much only get winks from guys and if their profiles don't fill me with enthusiasm, they don't kiss, they are into BDSM or are just after a quick blow job then they don't get a response, I rarely respond to female winks as generally their profiles look dubious, as for couples with bi male, I'm still waiting. What is apparent is far too many people don't read profiles or do but chance their luck anyway. |
