Generic verifications

Would you be offended if you got a generic veri?

"We met at the social, s/he is a lovely person and we had a nice chat."

Do you struggle knowing what to say or do you find it easy?

I'm quite happy with generic. Don't really like graphic ones.

I struggle to find what to say, I’ve had graphic ones written for me which I find cringy so I hide them. Even if I had an amazing time (which I have on pretty much all my meets) I always struggle

Hillside desolate

I had one of those "treat her with respect" ones, then he went and left the site and I lost it, gutted.

Im usually quite good with words, but when it comes to writing a veri, inspiration just won't flow so they are all a bit generic and stilted

Wouldn't and doesn't bother me either way

I am usually not stuck for anything to write about anyone unless i only met them briefly

Op.

She was as awesome as I imagine she would be. Gorgeous red head with beautiful smile and a laugh that melted my heart. She made me ask for a FAF twice but she never replied, maybe next time

I love writing veris and love most of the ones I've received too ... really don't like graphic ones as I'm a private person and prefer what happens between 2 (or more) people to stay with between them

In answer to your question OP, I think they can all sound a little generic when you have a lot too write, and after all there is only so much anyone can say about anyone.....

P.S.So sorry we didn't get to talk as much as I would have liked yesterday, whilst socials are ace, they aren't always conducive too 'proper' conversations and I was being pulled from pillar to post a little (in a good way of course!) xx

Would rather have those than graphic ones.

Generic is boring don’t you think? Your veri should at least reflect a bit more about you than “nice people/person, had a nice chat” and your time together... alas, at the same time graphic ones are a bit much.. they to can be tastefully written.

In my opinion

There and to the left a bit

Doesn't bother me either way to be honest - especially if it's from an organised social where you've had fleeting conversations with numerous people and finding something more than a generic "chatted briefly they seemed nice" isn't that easy.

For more intimate meets, be they social or otherwise, I do like to try and personalise veris a little more and make a reference to what happened (without being graphic) as a reminder of the meet

I’m quite bad at writing verifications and I usually respond in the same manner I receive a verification.

"Would you be offended if you got a generic veri?

Not at all. I've attended events and chatted with people at them whom I'd never interacted with previously, so we end up swapping a generic veri of exactly that nature. I might be a little disappointed though if someone I'd been chatting to a long time and really got along with just gave me a one-liner. As for play veris... There's lots that can be said without being graphic. I don't like them and I won't write them for someone else, even when asked.

Difficult to say. Sometimes I make it funny, some I just say thanks.

Depends on how it goes.

Would be more disappointed than offended and would most likely keep it hidden if it was bland and uninformative.

Flipping it round, we would look up verification's left by prospective meets as a filter of sorts. If they were wishy-washy generic we'd probably pass.

We very much write them to inform others with personality, attributes and performance to the fore.

I like personal (not graphic) veris. I think it helps paint a picture of the person.

When I see that type of standard veri I assume (wrongly by the sound of it) that it was probably a case of ‘damning by faint praise’

It wouldn't bother me but wouldn't see the point as I have verifications already to verify I'm what it says on the tin.

We have no problems with generic verifications.

They are intended to prove you exist and turn up. You don't have to display them...

Would prefer it to just be an accredited tick box type verification system.

All I need to know is

Are they who they say?

Did they turn up?

Are the photos them?

How well you got on with them has little relevance to me.

My ideal veri would be "sexy guy, would be happy to meet again". Anything less just seems a bit lacklustre, inferring there wasn't any attraction there, and anything more I'd probably hide as it'd come across as too much of a notch on the bed post

How about 'sexy voice, can't wait to meet'

This is also my approach, I apply the 'human' and 'sentient' element to it and avoid something that resembles a product review for something I bought from a department-store.

If I only meet someone socially say at a fab social then it will just be polite and generic.

If it's for someone I have played with then I like it to be a little amusing and tongue in cheek.

The best one I have had left for me said along the lines of "like the thrill of the response of a high performance F1 car". Unfortunately we broke up and he left the site.

Can’t stand the graphic ones. Just acknowledge that we are a real couple who turn up and are representative of our profile and pictures. Any other opinions about sexual performance or attraction are going to be different depending on each persons perception anyway.
