There were only 5 shark related fatalities in 2017. Despite what a certain 70s film made us believe, shark attacks are very rare!
Most selfie related deaths are not due to the selfie taker but due to bad luck! |

Can we add other mobile phone deaths to the list? Had 2 people walk into the road in front of me with headphones in and attention on the screen. Perhaps the mobile was invented as not enough of us are wet enough to get attacked by sharks. |

It irks me when people are just staring at their phones whilst bumbling around on the street or busy train station getting in my way. I'd probably mind less if it was important. But when I look to check I normally catch a glimpse of Love Island/Bake Off/Kindle/Instagram/Asos or Whatsapp with the person not typing an important message but a row of fucking emojis or 20 hearts. Hope god/natural selection takes all these fuckers away! |

The kind of people that watch love island use 90% of the brain to read so walking is just happening on auto pilot, you can't really expect them to navigate as well otherwise they'd have to stop breathing to free up some resources. |

Haha I never took a selfie in my life until after my operation in June now if I go for walk I take selfies along the way to show family am out and about. Or cos I spend lots of time 10 hrs a day solitary so take selfies at random times just to relive the boredom haha
Wow I just seen on phone taken 3000 since June I know when free from house I will stop cos I may see real people lol |
