A mark I Na Mazda MX 5 1.8, red with pop up headlights and a hard top for the winter. As a dad of four, it’s totally impractical, a total midlife crisis car, a girly or hairdressers car maybe, but it always makes me smile, particularly at the point on a corner with just a touch of understeer corrected to drift slightly sideways. Yes, I undoubtedly look ridiculous; someone said that me getting out of it looks like a big hairy spider coming out of a very small hole; but who cares when even driving to the shops is so much fun!!! |

Fully agree.
In Germany we have a C220 diesel estate that we can fill up in Luxembourg and get all the way down into Spain before we need to fill up again. That's just under 1000 kms.
Mrs has a 230 SLK Brabus which is her girlie car for the summer. It's getting on a bit now but still going strong.
We took our old 2005 C class estate and left it as our car in Spain. We've now had it over 10 years, it's done 260,000 kms and drives as good as the day we bought it. |

Should of put the f-type I only had loan of and was going to buy it but soon realised I was asking for trouble.
Would have been disastrous and I had to walk away.
But if you get the chance get in one, press the loud exhaust button and listen to the over-run and crackling from the exhaust.
One of the best sounds I've heard from a road car in a long time. |

I drive a 55 plate chevrolet tacuma.
I can only drive an automatic and there aren't many cheap used autos around here. I wasn't to keen on it when I first got it - I just needed a car quickly when my last one died. I've had it 18 months now and have grown to love it! |

Had the current one for a couple of years now and (touch wood) it hasn't cost me anything other than servicing and petrol so far.
Previous car was a DB9, now that was a money pit! |

Aaah I'm looking at brand new, or at worst 6-9 months or a pre-reg given there is a 5-6 month waiting list.
Hopefully if you get another won't have any issues

I had a new shape Jazz as a courtesy car and I can honestly say I hated the little 3 cyl turbo, a city run about it maybe fine, but near me there is a slip road that leads into the right hand fast lane of the motorway, and by the end of the slip road I was still only just hitting 60, while cars was easily doubt 70+.
Just didn't feel safe with the inability to hit motorway speed.
The having to work the engine and turbo to maintain 70, drank fuel, was getting 43mpg, I get more than our of my civic.
So not quite the car I hate, more the baby engines.
I'm also starting to really dislike this Honda Civic :/
