OK so is it just me, or do excessively blurred photos make anybody suspicious?
Did I read somewhere that if photos are pulled from another source and reused it makes them blurry, or have I dreamt that?
Surely in this day and age we can manage a genuine clear photo? |

There and to the left a bit |
"Borrowing" pics can make them blurry but that's not the only cause - sometimes just poor photography or even cropping a pic can have that effect - so in itself it's not a reason to be suspicious |

Some people deliberately blur their photos to hide wrinkles and lines from age and smoking. Same as when they use those stupid Snapchat filters. |

You dreamt that
If you pull a high res image from the internet and load it somewhere that lowers the resolution, you may see some degradation in the image but not blurring as such.
But yeah, even cameras on phones today should be able to produce a sharp image. |

"The only reason I'm suspicious of blurred photos is that they , by their very nature, don't give a clear idea of how the person looks."
Exactly this for me, I might as well be talking to a silhouette!! |

I just put most down to poor photography but then I do see some people who blur face ones and if someone wants to keep some privacy then who am I to complain. Each to their own photo wise if it dosn't appeal to people and puts them off someone then that's life I guess. |

Most people we chat to have clear photos and we appreciate that. The times we've me couples where one partner has blurry images its turned out that they aren't really interested in swinging. When its been a single its been because they want to conceal their age. |

Pictures tell lies!
Any blurring or filters where a 50yr old doesn't have a single line or blemish, or pictures of random body parts without a full body shot
They're all hiding something! |

Yep, I suck my stomach in in every picture that's taken of me. |
