The playing to death of cheap, tacky cover versions of christmas songs by various shops and stores.

As though the originals weren't bad enough...

The build up starts way to early in the shops. That by the time it is Christmas. It's lost all its specialness. I used to love this time of year. But not so much any more.

The fact Christmas has become just an excuse to over eat, overspend and get into debt for so many, you dont need to be religious to think they are missing something.

The Boxing day sales where broken, incomplete and out and out rubbish gets touted as a 'bargain', where previously it'd have been shoved in the bin...

Well in theory he wasnt born on december 25th any way. Think it was around the end of march although some say june as that is when the star of david appears So if he was due end of march he could of been premature and born on february 29th

They must have toned it down a lot then - there's usually plenty of gratuitous sex and boozing with anything Pagan.... they knew how to have a bluddy good knees up, not to mention a damn good barbecue in a wicker basket...

I skived sunday school too

All evidence points to October 15th to 22nd, 6 BCE for the actual birth of Jesus, though most Christians do celebrate the fact that he was born rather than the when.

The pagan festival of Oestre was also "written over" by the very clever Roman politicians, to become the crucifixion or blood sacrifice and dovetailed nicely with the then existing celebration of "new life".

for everything else there is always Barsteward card.

Watch Zeitgeist, blows religion out of the water. It's all bullshit mind control with the added extra of squeezing more money from us all by annoying marketing advertising and subliminals hehe.

Fuck 'em, roll on Chameleons Xmas party.

Supermarkets and shops that play the same old xmas songs, and most of the time not by the original artists, I pity the staff.
