Sure it wasn't a skunk - judging by the replies, confusing species is not altogether uncommon on here

I always wanted a ferret, you can train them like dogs, but then I found out about them smelling and it ruined it

They are part of the skunk family,in some parts of Europe they remove the anal glands that produce the defence fluid they can spray

All of the said above, I owned a docile ferret if there is such a thing, I once saw a ferret among wild bramble outdoors he/she popped their head up, going down a rabbit burrow and not wanting to come back could perhaps survive there!

We have 8 ferrets here (all from ferret rescues). By far the best pets we have and they don't bite or stink. Boys are neutered so they don't produce the hormone to make there smell and are cleaned regularly.

Usually that ends in 3 parts Nirvana, 1 part bemusement and a half part in a bad sitcom of my own making

Hiding in the shadows

I have lots of scars on my fingers.

I never listened to my grandad when he said "don't poke your fingers in the cage"

Working ferrets are totaly different to pet ferrets
