A beautiful, caring friend sent me flowers recently - just because. It was such a lovely gesture and I was really touched.
What was the last thing you were gifted and what was the story? |

The last things I was gifted were some personal things given to me by my late partners mother, I will never forget him anyway but now I have something I can carry with me all the time thanks to her |

"A pint of lager from several different people yesterday afternoon/evening.
Appreciation I’d imagine, some of them may or may not actually like me "
Boozer! |

"A new pair of ear buds because mine kept breaking and being chewed by my kitten. A very simple gesture but a complete surprise and a very sweet thought. "
It’s the little things showing that someone noticed or thought about you, isn’t it? |

I got a bunch of flowers for collecting my mates kids from school last week. Oooo, and a mug from St Lucia for collecting another mate from Gatwick this week.

An ecig from someone who thinks I need to at least cut down on how many cigs I smoke, starting to get used to it and roughly halved what I was going through but spent a fortune on different liquids trying to find the right one which I think I have now done |

A pair of trainers from M because I walk loads (usually 5/6 miles a day) and he wanted to buy me a proper pair of trainers to walk in. I’m a very lucky lady to have someone so caring xxx |

A beautiful bunch of flowers & a bottle of gin I’d not tried before. From Frank for the 3rd anniversary of us meeting. He’s a soppy one xx
Other than that it was a miniature gin from from my dad because he buys me one whenever he goes away (if he can find them)

A pair of silver and amethyst earrings in the shape of treble clefs from the Gem Rock Museum in creetown while we were on holiday in June.
Amethyst is my birthstone and my favourite gemstone, and i'm a musician so the treble clef is very apt. They'd caught my eye as we were strolling around the gift shop but I was resisting buying them because I have plenty of jewellery that I don't wear as much as I should so as pretty as they were I didn't feel justified making the purchase.
And then the next I heard Warlock asking the lady behind the counter to get them out for him to have a look, then that he would take them. He's not one for romantic gestures or spontaneous gifts really - and that's an observation to put the significance in perspective, not a complaint before anyone thinks otherwise - so it was an emotional little moment. |

A fidget spinner, a key ring and a fluorescent plastic worm - why? Because smallest small human wanted to wrap something up for me and raided his bedside cabinet. It made me smile. Particularly when he asked for them back some three minutes later. |

A motorbike from an elderly neighbour, I got it running for him after it had stood for over 20 years, his wife gave it to me and said he wanted me to have it, he had wanted to hear it run once more before he passed so it was my pleasure to put a smile on his face.
I miss him he was a real gentleman |

I miss those days. Along with wilted daisies or the best flower in your garden |
