Geography doesn't get in the way for me as I will travel for the right people. Unfortunately, for some people I.fancy this isn't enough as they prefer local only, regardless if I can make the effort to come out their way. |

Oh god there are so many, they live as far north as the top of Scotland, are far south as Guernsey, and everywhere in between incl Ireland. Everywhere except the North East. I think Co Durham had the least number of swingers in the UK |

I am like this though, I prefer local only. I don't like people going out of their way for me, I feel like there must be girls more local to the guys that I am no better than so why not save the effort time and money and stay local lol. It's like if there were 2 cars, they were barely any different which one you going to go for, the one you have to pay and be inconvenienced to get to or the one that is closer?! |

Long distance meets i've done (first time) have always been preceded by a good amount of build up to establish a connection and chemistry, and not just through texting either. When the decision is made to commit it's with the conviction that things will go very well for us both. So far, so good until now  |

I will travel anywhere if I felt the connection was there. I see it as going to see a different part of the country plus (by the time we’ve met) I’m meeting someone I’ve conversed with regularly enough to know we’d get on regardless of whether we got into bed or not. |

When I was a nice chap, I chatted with people all over the country. We chatted frequently and discussed meeting if the opportunity arose.
However I found myself close to one of them and as I had 48 hours to myself, they decided that they were taking a break from fab and weren't able to meet.
Real life gets in the way sometimes I know, but there is a part of me that thinks all she wanted was the flattery. Or she got off on stringing blokes along.
You are on this thread and have contributed to my bitterness and have made me the selfish fucker that I am today.

I love a good road trip!
I live on the south coast but I regularly travel north to see someone, or he heads this way.
Your only limitation is your own imagination.
As for who else I'd like to meet, there's lots of lovely folks on the forums, I'd love to sit & have a good old chinwag with.
I go all over to group socials, so over the last year I've been lucky enough to meet quite a few at those.

I will get messages saying how much of a shame it is that I’m so far away. It’s nothing that can’t be worked around.
I wonder now, how many have me on their hotlist, or admire from afar and never make themselves known.

It can be a great excuse for a short break away, not just limited to meeting folk, that part just dictates the area to go. The UK has plenty to offer, so even a flight from Southamptonand hire a car could see long distance journeys possible. |

Have to be damn sure there is the right connection first as well. I would feel quite a bit of pressure if some one had travelled a distance to meet.
Generally, I host local socials and rarely 'play' meet with anyone

This is the one down side of the forums. If we didn’t use the forums then we wouldn’t encounter all you lovely people because our search criteria would be set local to our location. The forums as well as entertaining and enlightening us has also teased us by allowing us to view and chat to people spread across the country. Luckily we managed to meet some forumites last week who just happened to be passing.
To answer the question though, it would be incredible to visit Llandudno, would like to visit the south east time after time, would be intrigued to visit Nottingham, always fancied a visit to humberside, the Isle of Wight sounds great along with York, Stoke, Chester and Whitby! |

I'm thinking of taking some well deserved weekends off and travelling to far flung parts of the country in search of a bit of quiet to help me finish my book and to hopefully meet some of the lovely people I've interacted with on here over the last few months. Like _alking disaster said, long distance meets can feel a bit pressured. So I'd be happy to just meet and have a cuppa and a natter. Then... if there's a feeling of a connection... of an opportunity missed... I'll scoot back to her arms as soon as possible.
I'll be going West, Londonwards, and North... possibly as far as York. For obvious reasons I won't be going South So if you'd like me to swing by for a brew if the opportunity arises say hi xx |
