So, you nip into a bakers and buy a cake
You know that cake tastes nice
It sure looks nice
So you buy it and you take it home
When you get it home, you rip the bag open and there it is looking all cakey and scoffable
But then it looks at you with them big cakey eyes and says "don't eat me"
"If you eat me, you won't enjoy it. I know I look nice and I know you want me, but don't"
"You know in small pieces, I'd be just as nice, just as edible, but you want me all, now, don't you ?"
"If you eat me all, it'll make you fat, there are much better things for you, have one of those instead"
So you think fuck it and scoff it anyway
Then, the next week you go past that bakers again and the same happens.
Next week, same again, only by this time the cake doesn't taste quite as good, if anything it's making you feel a bit guilty
Your mind is saying eat the fresh fruit, but the devil on your shoulder is saying 'cake, cake, cake'
So, if you're feeble minded, you listen to the guilt, you toss the cake aside and never go in that bakers again
You do this without realising, the devil was right in part.
Cake is good for you - in moderation.
You can have cake.
And fresh fruit.
And be happy
but some people are all or nothing.

The thread title is what people keep saying on various threads. For whatever reason someone doesn't want to fuck them, people say "they're not worth knowing anyway".
I know lots of people that don't want to fuck me. They're nice people. Why aren't they worth knowing.
It's so confusing. Why do they still talk to me if they don't want to fuck me. What worth do I have if I'm not fuckable.

Conversely if someone thinks I'm worth knowing because all I am to them is a fuck - they're not worth knowing, or losing sleep over, in my opinion.

People I don't bother with are people I've nothing in common with and struggle to find something to talk about with, because no matter how attractive they may be, they will never be someone I can connect with on a level that could lead to intimacy. But yes, I've had the same reaction you've had too from people I've enjoyed chatting to, and meeting socially, but don't want to play with.
Tbh... If all they want is what's between your legs, and having them between yours doesn't float your boat... Are you really any worse off for letting them walk away?
