I was beginning to feel like Bruce Willis in 6th Sense.
I'm invisible too. I've posted to numerous forums and sent message after polite message and the replies I've had in the years I've been here Incan count on onr hand.
Someone please tell me I'm NOT dead.  |

I don't understand that mentality.... Of course there are groups of people who know each other, they've possibly met or have chatted a long time... That doesn't mean they are a clique.
If you watch the forums you will see many posts are ignored by all sorts of people. Just join in and try not to be too miffed if not everybody responds immediately.
The forums are fun and talk of cliques just puts a downer on them. |

Seriously though... I get overlooked regularly. I think most people get it. The only way out I've found is to up my game and try and write more noticeable and engaging posts. Some days that's easier said than done. And sometimes I go in for a killer joke and absolutely nobody gets it. So it does mean I fall on my arse from time to time... as well as being handed it from time to time too I'm sure this also has the effect of turning me into marmite for lots of people. When in reality it's just a tactic I use to be noticed and included in threads... that and incessantly writing long winded replies in almost every thread |

But I like it over here. Granted there is a lot of space and not many people and those that are here are NFN (Normal For Norfolk) but that doesn't apply to me as I'm actually form Suffolk.

If you aren't in the clique, start your own clique it's simples. Had myself my own clique party the other night, got very tipsy and it got pretty messy. The after party punch up was a bit odd though. |
