What more can I say about tonight’s episode
I was over in Miami 4 years ago and the bus’ have a Rosa parkes seat. I knew a bit about it
To see MLK, RP and the open dialogue about negro and paki on a bbc prime time show!!!!

Hope everyone that said they weren't going to watch it because it was a female Dr stuck to their guns otherwise that will have fried their bigoted little brains

I have only seen a trailer. I have no problem with a lady Dr Who but I kind of expected her to be more played like Emma Thompson, not Victoria Wood (both of whom I admire greatly, but for different reasons).. |

I've still got last week's and this week's to watch, but thought the opening episode was great, Jodie, and especially Bradley Walsh. I'd struggled to warm to Peter Capaldi in the role (despite usually liking him as an actor) and kind of gave up but am really looking forward to watching the rest of this series  |

Just thought I’d add that last nights episode was probably the best since Day of the Doctor.
It’s pretty obvious that Chibnall is taking the show in a more socially aware direction and I applaud him for that, so much of the best sci-fi addresses hard hitting current affairs and issues (Battlestar Galactica remake anyone?)
