need to move house but to where

Got a new contract starting end of January 2012, based in York but working in Hull as well,

am self employed so responsible for my travel costs, want to cut as much dead mileage out as possible,

so thinking of moving to York or somewhere inbetween York and Hull (have to return to York every day for the job but the next day start in Hull)

So the question is for those who know the area, where would be a good place to move to, and where to avoid,

I am currently looking at Market Weighton,

Would be looking at privatly renting a 1/2 bed house or flat, not a bedsit or studio

Am grateful for any ideas

Selby area maybe ?

Probably more rental opportunities as it is a larger town + good motorway access

not far from iceland,,,,,, tescos is nearer though :-) (near leeds)

always try Pocklington about 35 mins to York same to hull,

not an option i do not own where i live now but rent, so would mean two lots of rent,

also i dont really want to share, totally moving is no big deal for me so the better option
