see that's where veg falls down for me
i don't mind it as long as it's covered in something bad, be it cheese, butter or honey
i also like it mashed beyond recognition
it is definately healthier for me to get my 5 a day from fruit |

Ex would only eat carrots.....I cant stand the things after 4 years of every meal havingg nothing but mushy orange circles.

Ewwww, nothing worse than overcooked veggies!!
For years I wouldnt go anywhere near parsnips or swede cos my Mam would over cook them and then mash them to pulp.
Then my better half asked me to try roasted parsnips... and , well, I think I fell even more in love with her!!! lol
Now I demand roasted parsnips at least once a week,and I love swede too.  |

Singularly the most contemptuous incarnation that mother nature could ever offer us to chew on. Usually boiled to death, or undercooked. Having demolished plate after plate of these as a child against threats of witheld dessert, I am glad to have liberated myself from the odious consumption of something I would rather throw or catapult into the nearest dustbin.
