"This ones a mine field
I said on my profile that I was athletic for a couple years, but now have slim because of all the differing opinions on what's what. Anywho, my pics show me as I am (albeit in mostly monochrome) "

You just have to plump for the best option (no pun intended) |

I went for average cos podgy wasn't an option
I am not athletic or slim, curvy sounds feminine, I'm not ample, I wouldn't describe my build as 'large' either and my body certainly isn't 'fabulous'
So what do you pick ?
The one closest to how you view your body |

"Nothing describes me better than average!..in every sense! "
Average body seems to be the majority on here, I rarely see any profiles past curvy, even some of the 'curvy' ladies I'd class as average body type |

I previously reasoned that since I am very active and play a lot of sport, mostly involving lots of running, that I had an athletic physique... but then some more muscular chaps expressed their displeasure at racing snake types stealing their label |

on fabguys I'm 'chubby' but that's not an option here
it's a much better descriptive for me as whilst I'm not fat, fat, I've definitely got a podge that won't be going anywhere any time soon |

There should be a skinny option as not all athletic/slim men have any muscle defination around the shoulders or arms and are in fact skinny. There's a massive difference. Just because we may or may not exercise doesnt mean we have an athelic body type. I have ticked average even though I can exercise for upto 6 hrs a day if Im out cycling.
As long as the expectation is not set to high on here then it can avoid disappointment. |

Well I'd like to describe myself as An Amazonian Blonde Bombshell, however, on reflection, a curvy or ample PAWG might be nearer the mark.
I am physically fit for my age, but I still carry too much blubber.
FAB, please add Beached Whale as a category. |

Lots of other words but they dont sound very nice at all. So yes your right maybe slim but like all these boxes there is an upper and lower end. |

What does fabulous even mean as a body descriptor? It seems to go slim, average, curvy, large, fabulous...for the ladies anyway. I would have thought fabulous meant....curvy but chesty? But not necessarily large? |
