"Aventus Creed "
I’ve heard so many people raving about this stuff
I went out to try it and with the intention of buying it....it’s got to be good if so many people go on about it.
Underwhelming would be an understatement for the price of it |

I have sauvage and creed
Sauvage is the cheaper option at £80 100ml and can be an everyday aftershave
Creed is about £320 for 100ml and well worth it and weekend use

"
Penhaligon Juniper Sling
"
Last time we were over in Leeds we went into penhaligons, was really impressed with the shop and the products. The bottles have great designs and the staff were superb.
It was a refreshing change from the usual beauty/fragrance assistant in department stores. |

"L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme is my everyday cologone - smells good and is relatively inexpensive."
I wear this sometimes and a couple of ladies at work have commented favourably on it. |

I agree, so over rated. All subjective but I don't like it at all.
Penhaligons do some nice fragrances, Givenchy Gentleman EDP I like a lot at the minute. |

London/Essex... ish... Romford to be exact |
I can't stand Dior Sauvage now. Everyone wears it. It is a powerful fragrance with good projection so I can't help but smell it everywhere I turn. I had a sniff of Abercrombie and Fitch Fierce once. Loved it as a clean everyday fragrance. Only a cologne though so probably not very overpowering but might also be quite weak performing. Smelled lovely though.
For those bigging up Aventus Creed, there are clone fragrances out there. The discerning nose MIGHT be able to tell the difference but most people won't be able to. You have to give the fragrance time to settle on the skin and then you will be able to appreciate just how similar it compares.

I think im the only person in the world that thinks Joop is just downright awful! Heard so many good things, always smell it every so often but its still terrible.
Cool water, sauvage and bleu de chanel are my go to at the moment |

They’ve done studies, you know. 60% of the time, it works every time. |

You’re not. It makes me feel physically sick at the smell of anyone nearby wearing it.
Apart from a little deodorant (fcuk Urban) I prefer to just have my own smell. Occasionally I’ll put on a little CK Escape |

It is also worth noting that most/all fragrances get reformulated from time to time so to aficionados there may be subtle or sometimes distinct variations. According to some reviews, Aventus can vary from having a smokey note or a fruitier pineapple note depending on the batch. |

"Lalique Encre Noire.
Not expensive and very different."
I bought this blindly solely on the back of some reviews. I thought I would love it. I hated it which was disappointing and sold it after 2 sprays. It is mighty strong though! To me it smelled like fresh ink in a wet forest. I read one description which was something along the lines of this would be what Professor Snape would wear! It is as the name suggests, very dark and moody doesn't attempt to fit in with the crowd. |
