A hardworking waitress who dreams of opening her own restaurant, Tiana finds her progress stalled when she transforms into a frog after desperately kissing a prince who has been turned into one by an evil witch doctor. The ninth Disney Princess, Tiana is the first to be of African-American heritage.

She will appear again in Wreck-it-Ralph 2, released later this year. Disney had to redraw her after an outcry about the "lightening" of her skin.

Shame on Disney!

What about Mulan?

Both kick ass strong female leads.

Then there is Moana...and obviously Pocahontas.

All non Caucasian leads.

Not disputing any of those Disney Princesses. I applaud Disneys diversity. More please

That film is old! One of our favourites though.

I love the voodoo and the New Orleans setting.
