Between the sexes? I dont think we do, but it would be good if it was like that, like with the wage gap for the same role, whats your view?

Yes,it's just that some seem to be more equal than others.

Nope Men have less in some areas but more than others.

Women see above.

Marginalised groups struggle to attain even basic equality.

It will sadly always be this way. You would struggle to maintain a perfectly equal society.

Yes Neanderthals still abound,It has got better though thankfully, but never going to be perfect, I come from the dark ages and was even expelled from school at the age of 14 because of what I am ...as I say.... The dark ages

There has never been a society where all were equal. Human nature will always create division.

As was alluded to previously, Lord of the Flies and Animal Farm detail it well

Even if my ex went clinically insane and was feverishly talking to the plug sockets, if there weren't any legal agreements to the contrary, if she told me I couldn't see my son she would still be in her full legal right to claim full custody.

So, no. Some things still aren't equal

Yeah but he speaks the truth, that's like so 1990's. Gotta innovate to stay relevant in 2018 bro.

Definitely not. Women’s wages still need to need to be the same as men’s. Especially within an office environment. (gem)

Good news, they already are - when you adjust for hours worked, seniority and all the variables that effect pay

In my entire working life I've never worked in any job where women get paid less than men for doing the same job.

"Between the sexes? I dont think we do, but it would be good if it was like that, like with the wage gap for the same role, whats your view?"

I don't think we do or ever will.

I'm not convinced we ever should.

However respect should be equal and equal pay for equal jobs is a must.

But some jobs will always be better for one of the sexes. Not necessarily home roles no reason for lack of equality there.

But I will always hold a door open, or back off going through a space or help if someone is struggling (and that is probably sexist, a woman broken down in a car I would stop and help, a guy I would think should be able to sort himself, so need to rethink that maybe, so I have tried to start helping both) If I took a woman on a first or early date I would expect to be paying, and picking up and dropping off safely at home, etc. There are many other things like this I wouldn't like to see change. Might be wrong in some peoples eyes but my opinion.
