Hi all,
L expressed interest recently in throwing a dinner party, and possibly a swingers dinner party.
Would this format be something there would be a lot of interest in? And for anyone who has organised an event on the scene like this, any advice would be useful x |

I've been asking the same question for a while and even have it listed on my profile, just want to arrange a nice evening ...trying to find 10 people able to use a knife and fork on here has become a bit of a mission |

Could it be more of a finger buffet experience? |

I'd be worried of where the fingers had been though

When my ex and I put on group socials we always had massive drop outs. One gathering had about 8 people committed to coming and no one turned up. After that we organised a massive gathering with 25 people signed up and about 8 people turned up.
The issue which always held us back was that, in our time swinging, we simply never met any couples who were "normal" and looking to make friends. Had we found other couples we gelled with, that would've formed a great basis for parties and group socials as we could've invited whoever we wanted and still ended up with us lot if it hadn't worked out.
Other than that it sound like a great idea. I'd be up for it. But you'll probably have many who say the same but don't turn up |

Tell us about the abnormal couples you met? |

It sounds lovely and I have been lucky enough to meet some lovely couples in the past it would be a pleasure to have a dinner party with. However if I'm planning a night of debauchery the last thing I want is to sit down for a meal just beforehand.
Maybe a couple of light courses with dessert being foods that you could use playfully, and games in between courses? |

A number of us used to rent a house every few months to hold parties in.
We would all chip in.And bring our own food drink etc. If a BDSM party no drinking during the pay time.but afterwards it was just a set of people dressed in underwear corsets etc. Having a great weekend. Beds where full all the time mostly people sleeping lol. But sleeping bag where brought. If not enough beds at night. |

Good to see there's a "market" of sorts for this idea. It's rather fallen off the radar the last couple of weeks but we'll take a note of anyone in this thread who is local(ish) and if we manage to get it arranged send out some invites :D |

We'd had a similar idea too. Her is a private chef and has run a series of successful supper clubs, so we're happy with that side of things.
It's more whether people would want to play after! I think as someone else said, we'd wondered whether we'd have to tell everyone else who was coming- sensible and what we'd like if it was us, but equally, just that little bit more complicated!
Would it best for more more or fewer couples? Add singles as well...? Conscious we shouldn't just do it for what we want! |

It's a really cool idea! Getting the balance with the meal I imagine will be the tricky part... |
