So I am always getting winks and messages from people, as soon as they know I’m not well at the moment they just leave and ignore me?
My condition is scary to some, but it’s temporary, it hopefully will be treated and go away, so why can’t people treat me like normal?
I’m Still me, I haven’t changed, no disfiguring from the cancer, I may loose a bit of weight, probably could do with loosing some I guess anyway..

Good morning,
Sometimes people are afraid of what they don’t understand, and sometimes this world offers them a utopian escape from reality, and cancer could be something they can’t or don’t want to deal with.
I hope it goes well and your treatment is effective,... and that you still get in fun and filth x |

Like someone else said people are scared by what they don’t understand. I’ve seen friends not visit someone with cancer or cross the road to avoid talking to them, as they just don’t know what to say.
That isn’t everyone though. |

I'm not sure it's about people being scared. People come on here to escape the stresses of life, hook up with people and have sex. They don't necessarily want to be reminded of real life.
OP I do understand that you want to be honest with people but then you can't get upset when people are honest about not wanting to meet you whilst you are ill. These are essentially strangers at the end of the day. |
