Im gonna try and hold on till atleast late october when it really starts to dip. Just so the transition isnt as bad as it was last year  |

I made the mistake of a fortnight in tenerife at the very end of august ... was still pretty warm here when i left ... the temperature probably only dropped a little and gradually if i had been at home ... but it was a shock to the system going from 30 to whatever it was at home ... heatings been on ever since

It's got naff all to do with being a miser. I'm a single mum,I have the Manchester social coming up (priorities first and all that),my daughters 18th birthday and the dreaded Christmas to pay for.
Until I meet my incredibly old near death husband I have to be a little careful. It's good to get your body a little used to the cold anyway otherwise you'd never step out the door in the winter. |

I would wait as well but thankfully my heating is included in my rent. Agency switched it on last week in our house so I put a radiator on in my flat 2 days ago when it was too cold and windy. |

My kitchen door is permanently open for the dog. Crotchfruit have learnt how to over-ride the heating. They know how long it takes the radiators to cool down so they think I don’t know. The smart meter gave them away
