When you argue but are still ok and don't repeat the same arguments over and over...unless it's small arguments like the one who won't stop spilling jam on the side every single time they use it. |

No taking the piss or insulting in my definition of friendship! Mutual support and able to share vulnerability without judgement, I would say, as well as shared experiences/having a laugh together |

There and to the left a bit |
The people you know you can talk to or turn to about anything who won't judge but will criticise when necessary, who you don't necessarily have to talk to every day but when you talk to them just pick up from where you left off, who you can laugh and cry with and so much more. |

"How do you know who your friends are?
I say it's the people who take the piss out of you most. Am I right? "
The person you don't see for months then when your life falls apart you know exactly where to go and they respond exactly how you would. Anybody else is an acquaintance.
Got maybe 3 of those at most, and married to one of them. |

The ones who don't mind me being blunt, Frank and to the point. Saying it how it is wet her it's positive or negative.
It works both ways. Me saying it or being told it.
That's one example or true friends |

Loyalty is something I prize most in a friend - they are on your side whatever happens, always supportive, even if they don't agree. A true friend is always pleased to hear from you, always makes time to chat to you, and loves and accepts you exactly as you are - they just celebrate the 'youness' of you. Well that's what I try to do anyway.
And yes, the better a friend is, the more I rib them generally. |

Your definition depends; if someone is constantly taking the piss out of you and it upsets/hurts you, and despite being informed of it, they continue - that’s not a friend. |

I agree with this! Get the first right - then absolutely the second follows safely |
