We're leaving the EU because less than 0.97% of the UK population voted to leave instead of stay. By which I mean, had they voted to stay it would've been a tie.
What other interesting percentages can you think of? |

Whic is a perfect illustration of why percentages are one of my least favourite ways to express data - all they are doing is transforing the data to a point on a 0-100 scale, but because we are comfortable decimally, we make inferences from the data without applying statistical tests. |

"85% of women wear the wrong bra size"
I've had a mare trying to get bras to fit.
2 42 dd's I got from M&S I'm spilling out of and two I got from Asda in the same size are too big.

Measure under your bust for the back size then around the fullest part for the cup. Each inch is a cup size roughly and you have to try bras on
No makes are the same! |

At least be accurate in your figures - 17.4 Mn of 65 Mn population = 26.7%. But why attribute a percentage to people ineligible to vote? 72% of those who were eligible voted - the highest since WWII. In Psephology those who can't be arsed to vote are deemed to be 'content to go along with the majority'. Which happened to be Leave. So in voting terms some (52% + 27%) = 77% are 'content to leave the EU'.
Maybe choose a better example to establish your point? |

Pedantically points out that if you are making a point about accuracy then the turnout at the referendum was 72.2% |

Had 634,750 leavers voted to stay it would've been a tie and we wouldn't be on the course we're on. This represents less than 0.97% of the current UK population. That's the size of the mandate. That's all I was saying. Nothing more. Nothing less. |

Firstly the overall majority isn't the 'mandate'. The overall decision is the mandate. All you have done is show how devious Remainers can be to try and overturn a vote they clearly lost.
You want percentages? In 2017 the Tories beat Labour by 21.4% more seats in Parliament but Labour still think they won. They clearly don't understand you have to get more votes to win. A bit like Remainers.
And another percentage? 80% of the UK electorate voted for political parties that had Brexit in their Manifesto... |

If you had £634750 in the bank you would be very happy, if you timed that by 2 that would be £1269500 which would make you even happier! The percentage may seem small but in actual numbers it's a lot! |

Ah but you don't know how it feels to have big tits and no bra. Personally would prefer the support and to make it sexy and yes how can the sizes vary so much |
