I’m your mum’s age

For once I mean just this once I made an exception to ask a mature lady out and this was her response!

‘I’m your mum’s age’

Who says that? Have you ever had a response like this?

What kind of Americanism is that?

Hiding in the shadows

As I've blocked anyone young enough to be my son, not a problem on here.

But on chat groups, it's usually

"I'm old enough to be your mother"

. Was she your mum's age?

Some older women find it difficult to believe that a much younger man would be interested in them for reasons other than making them a sandwich.

No, she’s much younger than my mum.

I’d love to make this particular older woman a good Nutella Sandwich

I don't see the problem, there is a big difference between having someone your son's age and having attraction to you son. Many women like much younger men and many men like much older women. All is good between consenting (un-related) adults.

Is that some sort of hideous euphemism?

I wouldn't say that to a guy who contacted us on here although technically many who contact us do fall in to that bracket. Nobody has ever said it to me either.

I was dealing with an extremely attractive guy at work recently who is 32. A colleague asked if I got his number and I replied that he probably thought I was just like his mum. I did get his number though

‘I’m your mum’s age’

Who says that? Have you ever had a response like this?

What kind of Americanism is that?

Does she not have age limit in her profile?

I didn’t check

Anyway.. what was your reply? Lol

FAF?

What does FAF mean? Seen it a few times. Lol"

I’ll tell you on Monday.. weekend is mine

Some older women find it difficult to believe that a much younger man would be interested in them for reasons other than making them a sandwich.

Used to be that people too lazy to write a proper message just sent "Fancy A Fuck" to everyone. Then someone pointed out they were only pretending to be lazy and FaF was created

"I don't see the problem, there is a big difference between having someone your son's age and having attraction to you son. Many women like much younger men and many men like much older women. All is good between consenting (un-related) adults.

She’s only 17 years older.. that’s not a lot now.. is it?! "

I was married to a man who was 17 years older than me as I liked older men when I was younger. However I regularly have f/b's with that sort of age difference younger than me as for a greedy girl men's age can be difficult when they are 50+ Age is just a number but only meet with an older woman if you find her attractive not just to "pop an older woman cherry".

I understand that completely, what I mean is when someone has a limit of let’s say 18 - 55, you message them and then they message “you’re the same age as my son!” Or “you’re younger than my son”. I do have a baby face though.

It does seem strange that they would use that as a reason not to meet. Although sometimes people will say something like that to be polite.

You're lucky to have a baby face, don't knock it

"That’s a typical reply I get even though their age limit is 18, if you’re not into someone much younger than you, change your limits

Having a low age limit doesn't mean you're interested in everyone of that age.

I understand that completely, what I mean is when someone has a limit of let’s say 18 - 55, you message them and then they message “you’re the same age as my son!” Or “you’re younger than my son”. I do have a baby face though.

Hopefully they’re just being polite, like yousay, or they don’t know how to change their preferences.

Got to admit, I’m always prepared to be ID’d

"For once I mean just this once I made an exception to ask a mature lady out and this was her response!

‘I’m your mum’s age’

Who says that? Have you ever had a response like this?

What kind of Americanism is that? "

Same gender too the coincidence is uncanny !

". Was she your mum's age?

Some older women find it difficult to believe that a much younger man would be interested in them for reasons other than making them a sandwich.

If you've got bacon I'm in

Wail. A man of 49 counts as much younger than me and only wants me for my bacon. "

Hey come on I just like making bacon it's not just a young man's game
